Midlands Fashion Awards

On Friday 24th October, I competed as a finalist in the Midlands Fashion Awards under the 'Independent Designer Category', held at the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra - CBSO Centre. I was so happy to have been selected down to the final six and showcase my collection along with other talented designers in my category. It was a really long day full of mayhem and backstage mania with dress fittings and show rehearsals. On the evening, I showcased six outfits from my collection and I got to chat to the judges of the event about my inspirations and story behind my collection plus who I am as a designer. I also exhibited, showing my brand to 300 guests who attended. Those included fashion bloggers, photographers, magazine editors, people from the industry and even Miss Birmingham showed her presence!

It was a huge opportunity and fantastic exposure that has helped move my brand forward. This is something I will always remember as another highlight and to be proud of. I met some great people and lots of contacts to move forward with. Thank you to those who came along and supported me!
